This level includes foundations and easy, usable steps from Disco Fox, Cha-cha, Viennese Waltz, Salsa, and more. You'll learn how to lead/follow, stay on the beat, and move comfortably with a partner. No experience needed and no partner required.

Tango Argentino — Level 1
Tango is not about big moves. It's about connection, musicality, and walking with intention. Tango Argentino — Level 1 is a structured class that takes you from strong fundamentals to intermediate elements, with clear technique you can actually use on the dance floor. We'll focus on posture, embrace, balance, lead & follow, and musical timing, then add simple variations and smoother transitions as the group progresses. Ideal if you're starting tango or you already know the basics and want to level up. You can join with or without a partner. Limited spots. Reserve your place.
Dance like a Greek — Level 1
Feel the Greek spirit with iconic steps, rhythm and group energy. Perfect for beginners and also fun for experienced dancers — like a real Greek party in Zürich.

Disco Fox is one of the most popular social dances in Switzerland. You'll learn easy basics, turns and simple leading/following so you can dance confidently very quickly.
Dance like a Greek — Level 1
Feel the Greek spirit with iconic steps, rhythm and group energy. Perfect for beginners and also fun for experienced dancers — like a real Greek party in Zürich.
Tango Argentino — Level 1
Tango isn't about flashy steps. It's about connection, musicality, and that calm, confident walk. Tango Argentino — Level 1 is ideal if you're starting from zero (or restarting properly). We'll build strong foundations: posture, embrace, balance, walking technique, simple rhythm, and clear lead & follow, so you feel comfortable on the dance floor fast. Stelios and Nana are great dance instructors!!! The courses are very interesting and the atmosphere is unique. I totally recommend the dance academy to anyone who wants to start from the basics or is already in an advanced level 🔝🔝🔝
Ich habe mich als Einzelperson bei der Kakadu Dance Art Academy angemeldet – ganz ohne Tanzpartner – und wurde vom ersten Moment an herzlich aufgenommen. Die Atmosphäre ist super freundlich und offen, sowohl von den Tanzlehrern als auch von den anderen Teilnehmern. Was mir besonders gefällt: Es wird regelmäßig durchgewechselt, sodass man mit verschiedenen Partnern tanzen kann. Das ist perfekt für Singles, die tanzen lernen möchten, ohne sich Gedanken über einen festen Partner machen zu müssen. Die Kurse sind gut strukturiert, sowohl für Anfänger als auch für Fortgeschrittene. Die Lehrer nehmen sich Zeit für individuelle Korrekturen und schaffen es, die Technik mit Spaß zu vermitteln. Auch außerhalb des Unterrichts gibt es immer wieder Veranstaltungen, auf denen man das Gelernte anwenden und neue Leute kennenlernen kann – ideal, wenn man neu in der Stadt ist oder einfach gerne tanzt. Ich kann die Academy wirklich jedem empfehlen, der alleine starten möchte – hier fühlt man sich nicht allein!
An amazing experience! This dance school stands out for its professionalism, warm atmosphere, and exceptional instructors Nana and Stelios. Each class is fun, full of energy, and at the same time helps you build proper technique and grow as a dancer. Personally, I felt welcomed and comfortable from the very first moment. Dance became a way for me to express myself and unwind, and this school provided the perfect environment to truly enjoy that. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to combine learning, creativity, and joy! 💃
My fiancée and I first joined the group classes at the dance school, which allowed us to discover several dance styles and quickly learn the basics. We loved the atmosphere and the way Nana teaches — clear, energetic, and very supportive. This great first experience motivated us to continue with private lessons to prepare the choreography for our wedding first dance. Nana suggested a beautiful choreography tailored to us, and she also took our ideas and preferences into account. The final result truly reflects who we are, and we’re absolutely thrilled! A wonderful school and an exceptional teacher — we highly recommend it!

What should I wear for class?
Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely.
For shoes:
- clean indoor shoes
- dance shoes (if you have them)
- or comfortable sneakers
Most importantly: feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the class.
Do I need a dance partner?
No. You can join on your own — we rotate partners during the class.
How do I register for a course?
You can register:
- through our website
- by email
- by phone or WhatsApp
- or directly at the studio
We’re happy to help you find the class that suits you best.
How much do the courses cost and how can I pay?
Our prices depend on the type of subscription and the number of classes per week.
You can check our pricing page or contact us for guidance.
You can pay via IBAN, TWINT, or cash at the instructor.
Can I change my class or schedule?
Yes — we’ll gladly help you find another class that fits your availability.
What happens if I’m sick or miss a class?
If you inform us at least 24 hours in advance, you can usually make up your lesson in another class.
Otherwise, the lesson is considered completed.
In unexpected situations, we always try to support you as best as possible.
How can I cancel a booked class?
Class cancellations are made via email: info@kakadu.dance.
IMPORTANT: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the class will be charged.
Can I pause or freeze my subscription if I travel?
Yes. If you let us know in advance, we can help adjust your schedule and, in some cases, pause or freeze your subscription for a period of time.
For longer absences, please inform us via email: info@kakadu.dance.
We’ll help you resume your classes when you return.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription by sending us an email at least 14 days before your next renewal date.
We’ll take care of the rest for you.
Can I transfer my class to someone else?
Classes are personal, but if your schedule changes, we’ll gladly help you find another suitable solution within our programs.
